Thermal Radar

Thermal Radar Hydra combines a high powered 360° panoramic thermal imaging camera with a color PTZ camera, giving you unprecedented flexibility. It is the ideal observation and detection solution for critical infrastructure locations and for organizations wishing to protect their interests wherever they may be located.

Why Thermal Radar?

  • World’s First Affordable 360° Thermal Camera

  • Cost Effective Security Replaces Up To 16 Cameras

  • Early Warning Perimeter Detection from the Inside Out
  • Industry and Award-Winning Technology

24/7 Thermal Coverage Plus the Benefit of Forensic Data!

Rotating at speeds up to 60 RPM, the LWIR camera stitches together a composite image of up to 20 “virtual” cameras creating a 360° HD thermal image. Using any Ethernet-ready device, an operator can easily view the image in near real time.

Fully Self Contained Surveillance Solution:

Thermal Radar operates as a fully self-contained unit providing its own power, communications, connectivity, analytics and alert monitoring. It can also be fully integrated into existing infrastructure and Video Management Systems.

Powerful Onboard Video Analytics:

Simple, easy to use analytics allow the user to quickly identify intrusions over the entire 360° FOV. Once an alert has been identified, Thermal Radar can send notifications along with map coordinates and JPEG images to a dispatch service or other alert management tool.

Completely Undetectable:

Unlike Radar or other active surveillance systems, Thermal Radar is completely passive, rendering it invisible and impossible to detect.

Day or Night / Fair or Bad Weather:

Demonstrated ability to penetrate dust storms, fog, smoke, and complete darkness. No lights, emitters, or other devices are required. This camera sees the same image Day or Night without any assistance or support!

Cost Effective:

Thermal Radar’s unique ability to multiply the power and capability of a single thermal sensor to do the work of up to 16 cameras or 20 separate sensors allows it to provide cost effective blanket thermal coverage to any site. It uses less than 6 Watts of power.

Rugged and Reliable:

Thermal Radar can be used in rugged, remote areas as well as high traffic urban settings. It can operate where electronic resources are limited through solar and battery power sources. All components are completely protected from the elements inside a sealed enclosure. This means no rotating seals to fail, no sandblasted lenses, and no foggy images.
